Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on 17 October 1992), is an Indian actress. She appears primarily in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her role as the role of actress Savitri. Also, she has received three SIIMA Awards as well as an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of producer of film G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. The career of Keerthy began in the 2000s when she was a child actor. She returned into the industry of film after completing her studies in the field of fashion. She played her debut leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and signed up to appear in several Tamil films simultaneously. In 2015, she released A. L. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu in opposition to one another. The films did not do well in the cinemas. To make room for larger projects due to her hectic schedule, she was forced to opt to not participate in certain films which she started to work on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romantic comedy) as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. This meant that she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played in the role of Thodari as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. Although the release date of Janakitho Nenu is not yet set, reports suggest that the film could be released sometime in September of 2020. In the year 2016, Nenu Sailaja with Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy debuted with Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay.
